This is the action phase. That means tension can be a good thing. Where would heroes be if there weren’t villains to draw them out? Your plot has already begun. You’re the protagonist; your antagonist has appeared. Of course, you’re taken by surprise. That’s how it is at the First Quarter moon. Someone shows up too soon, says an unkind word, or worse, attacks. You’re not sure you’re ready to take them on. Your test is to discern: is your enemy just a windmill, or a gift from the great plot maker, sent to develop you beyond the limits you thought you had. If someone or something draws you out of your safety zone, bless this moment, and step forward. But if you’re just tense, realize that’s because this phase wants action. Move. Make a commitment by doing. Whether it's your action or inaction, you now lay the foundation for your full moon realization. To expand your heroic limits, do something your parents never thought you could do. |
