Last month we called a few
questions into the Circle. We are excited to adjust our shape because
of your responses. Among the feedback, many of you admitted to feeling
"pressured" by the new and full group ritual times. Going in, we
knew that setting one time for everyone would mean inconvenient times for
many, which is why we were sincere in saying scheduling your own time was
a fine option. But we learned it's about even more than that.
Two moon ceremonies a month is perhaps too many for most of us. And,
we discovered in listening to you, that a different picture of feminine
spirituality is emerging -- it's not a surprising one, but it is different
from our original intent.
A group ceremony through
a cyberspace connection just doesn't seem optimum. Women (and enlightened
men!) either want to join with a real flesh-and-blood circle in real time
(and many of our circle do just that -- sharing our ritual suggestions
with their group). Or, they prefer to make this a more personally
creative moment -- finding a time that's personally convenient and
celebrating in an eclectic way -- using some elements from our ceremony
and others supplied by their own inspiration.
So we want to offer a ritual
section that suits this new creativity. We will be providing new
pages where more of us in the circle can share what we find fulfilling
as moon celebrations. And, we will offer the CyberRitual at each
Full Moon instead of both the New and Full. Sometime less is
more!
